We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at our upscale dress boutique. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting clients in finding the perfect dress for their special occasions, and ensuring a delightful shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers warmly as they enter the boutique and provide personalized assistance throughout their shopping journey.
2. Assist customers in selecting dresses, offering styling advice, and ensuring they find the perfect fit and style for their needs.
3. Stay updated on current fashion trends, dress styles, and designer collections to effectively advise customers and make recommendations.
4. Handle customer inquiries, resolve any concerns or issues promptly and professionally, and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
5. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise displays, dressing rooms, and checkout areas.
6. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash and credit card payments, and reconcile daily sales.
7. Assist with inventory management tasks such as receiving shipments, tagging merchandise, and restocking shelves as needed.
8. Participate in store promotions, events, and sales initiatives to drive traffic and increase sales.
9. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the boutique.
10. Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer service, sales, and store operations.

Requirements:

1. Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a boutique or fashion-related setting.
2. Passion for fashion, with a keen eye for style and trends.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
4. Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to exceed customer expectations.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
7. Basic math skills and proficiency in using POS systems and other retail technology.
8. Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
