The Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic aids with heavy-duty mechanical repair, advanced diagnostics, electrical diagnosis, vehicle servicing, and 90-day inspections. and assisting in the fleet department. This role is responsible for maintaining a strong working relationship with the fleet department and manager. This position ensures positive teamwork. This role provides support to the fleet team and as needed, including organizational tasks.

• Proficient with Scan tools and Diagnostics
• Proficient in diesel repair
• Proficient in DEF diagnosis and repair
• Basic knowledge in hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair
• CDL license preferred
• Has own toolset
• Specialized tools will be provided

Education and Experience:

• 5 years minimum diesel and gasoline motor experience
• Welding experience preferred
• Computer literate
• Email, phone, and in-person communication skills
• Familiar with DOT regulations
• Bilingual a plus
• Comfortable in a shop environment as well as working on a job site

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting, squatting, stooping, bending, kneeling, and standing.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
