A law firm in Denver is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney with 5-10 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to perform high-quality work, protect confidential information, and expand the scope of work performed. The role involves being the primary point of contact for clients, developing and executing project plans, leveraging AI technology in e-discovery, and managing review teams. The successful candidate will have comprehensive experience in all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and will be responsible for implementing custom workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce client costs. Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding eDiscovery matters. Develop and execute detailed project plans for each stage of the EDRM. Collaborate with clients and technology providers to leverage AI technology in the e-discovery platform. Implement custom workflows to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence. Create and refine standard documentation, including ESI protocols, Protective Orders, review protocols, training guides, and review workflows. Manage and guide review teams, providing necessary feedback and ensuring industry-leading speed and accuracy. Train team leads and foster a collaborative team environment to identify and solve problems for clients and review teams. Conduct interviews with IT to develop and implement preservation strategies. Negotiate ESI protocols and conduct custodial interviews. Draft and test keyword searches for document review. Oversee document review management at a law firm, in-house legal department, or consulting firm. Requirements: 5-10 years of relevant eDiscovery experience. Active licensed lawyer in the US jurisdiction of residence and in good standing with a State Bar. Experience in all phases of the EDRM, including identification, preservation, collection, review, and production. Experience conducting interviews with IT and developing preservation strategies. Proficiency in conducting custodial interviews. Experience drafting and testing keyword searches. Experience managing document review teams. Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active licensed lawyer in good standing with the State Bar of their US jurisdiction of residence. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. High level of discretion to protect confidential firm and client information from disclosure or misuse. Ability to develop and implement effective project plans. Proficiency with e-discovery tools and technology, including AI applications. Strong leadership and team management skills.
