Job Description: The web designer is responsible for creating and maintaining the program's online identity through LSG's websites built on the WordPress platform, as well as on multiple social media channels. The web designer is responsible for ensuring web-based content - including downloadable files - are ADA (Section 504/508) compliant. The web designer maintains and manages the program's listservs, the program's audio-visual resources and provides support to program personnel using those resources and assists with the development and design of online forms, creation of electronic newsletters and other electronic communications.
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for creating and maintaining the program's online identity through LSG's websites built on the WordPress platform, as well as on multiple social media channels. Responsible for ensuring web-based content - including downloadable files - are ADA (Section 504/508) compliant. (75%)
Maintains and manages the program's audio-visual resources and provides support to program personnel using those resources. Maintains and manages the program's listservs and listserv communications. Assists with the development and design of online forms and other electronic communications. (20%)

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, English, graphic design, fine arts or a closely related field and 1 year experience. Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, InDesign), the WordPress platform, as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); understanding of ADA compliance; familiarity with various social media platforms; understanding of basic photography/graphic design principles.
