The Carroll County Water Authority (CCWA) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Water Treatment Superintendent at the recently expanded and upgraded Snake Creek Water Treatment Plant.

The Snake Creek Water Treatment Plant utilizes conventional treatment processes to treat consistently low turbidity raw water from the Snake Creek Reservoir. This modern 12-MGD facility is newly updated, well maintained and operated to produce high-quality water. The Georgia Association of Water Professional has awarded the Platinum Award to Snake Creek Water Treatment Plant for the past 8 years for adherence to regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed Class I water plant operator in the State of Georgia with at least ten years of water industry experience and five years supervisory experience. Post secondary education and training are desired. Strong computer skills are required.

Qualifications:

  • A Class I Operators License is required.
  • At least 5 years supervisory experience in water treatment is required.
  • At least 10 years experience in the water industry is required.
