Key Details

• Travel rate available for local travelers if starting on or before 12/16.
• Contracts available from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025.
• Work schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week; 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15).
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
• Float requirement: As needed to sister unit (ICCU).
• Scrubs: Navy, white, or a combination of the two.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Experience with arterial lines, titrating vasoactive drips, and telemetry.
• Proficiency in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Use of rapid response teams, IV insulin protocols, and blood product administration.
• Central and peripheral line care/management, PICC line management.
• Experience with heparin protocols, CVA, chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, HFNC, and tracheostomy management.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and experience with IV start, telemetry, and conscious sedation.

• ICU stepdown, post rapid response team patients, respiratory distress, unstable hemodynamics.
• Withdrawal, GI bleeds, post-op surgeries (GYN, GU, GI, thoracotomies, neuro, ortho).
• Pre/post OB with complications (Pitocin).
• Only one pressor drip per patient; more requires transfer to ICU.
• Special equipment includes bedside telemetry monitors with remote backup.
