Role Description

This is a summer role for a Camp Manager at Classroom Antics. The Camp Manager will be responsible for running the camps administratively and acting as a substitute instructor as needed. You would have up to 48 students and 4 teachers to be responsible for. We have two managers to share the responsibilities. This is an on-site role located in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities

• Conducting site-visits the week prior to each camp
• Driving a full-size van of camp equipment to and from camp on Mondays and Fridays
• Directing and assisting staff during setup and breakdown of camp
• Assisting parents with questions or concerns
• Assisting campers as needed
• Tending all-day campers during the instructors’ lunch break
• Assisting instructors as needed
• Substitute for an instructor as needed
• Representing Classroom Antics in a positive and professional way

• Communication and Teaching skills
• Organization and time management skills
• Passion for STEAM education
• Ability to engage and inspire students
• Experience working with children
• Ability to drive a full-sized van to locations
• Ability to lift/move equipment
• Commitment to see the job through to completion
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $18.00 - $20.00/hour.
