Overview:

The Country Club of Roswell is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Player Assistant (Starter/Ranger). Primary role is to ensure an orderly start and flow of play onto the golf course while enforcing all club rules and providing assistance to Members and Guests in order to keep play at an even flow. Responsible for providing the highest level of professionalism and customer service for our Members and Guests on the course.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience and Basic Golf Knowledge.
• Available to work early mornings, weekends & holidays
• You can be trusted to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary Company information and sensitive employee matters, except as expressly authorized by the Company.
• You always perform at the highest level of ethical work standards.
• You are comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments with frequent exposure to hot or cold temperatures and humidity.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Start players on the first tee explaining the rules of play for the day & maintain an accurate starting sheet so the whereabouts of players are known.
• Cues groups to move to the first tee and makes sure not more than one group is on the tee at on time.
• Tour the golf course assisting players when needed to maintain the posted pace of play for the day.
• Maintain proper spacing on the golf course to avoid delays.
• Remind players of the cart rules of the day.
• Communicate with the Golf Shop on a regular basis.
• Monitor the course and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist golfers when needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

The private Country Club of Roswell is located among rolling hills, lakes, and streams in the 700-home upscale housing development of Willow Springs, just outside Alpharetta.
