Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Product Manager (Confluence Mobile) at Atlassian, you will advance our mission to unleash the potential in every team. Confluence allows knowledge workers to create, collaborate, and connect their team’s knowledge, all in one place.

Join our Confluence Mobile team as we make our native iOS and Android mobile apps a world-class experience for our customers and end users. You will be reporting to the product lead for Content Types and Mobile.

You will lead the mobile features that directly drive engagement as well as grow the adoption of Confluence mobile within our largest Enterprises, specifically focusing on the core content consumption and editing experiences. You will partner with other senior Mobile PMs on the team to bring an inspiring vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and drive the product roadmap for our mobile apps along with other Mobile PMs and communicate to leadership as appropriate.
  2. Conduct customer research, market research, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends and inform the product roadmap.
  3. Gather and analyze user feedback through various channels to inform product decisions and improve user experience.
  4. Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to develop and launch new features and products.
  5. Understand the mobile customer journey and use cases to create a solid roadmap of initiatives to grow Confluence Mobile app.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to align product goals with business objectives.
  7. Utilize data and analytics to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement/experimentation, and drive product decisions in alignment with the organizational goals.
  8. Regularly conduct A/B testing and other experiments to validate product hypotheses and optimize features.
  9. Work closely with other PMs and cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate feature prioritization across web and mobile.

More about you

You love working hard to make capabilities as amazing as possible for customers. You have prior success setting product vision and strategy and launching excellent products & platforms. You can lead the team through setting clear goals, making decisions, and communicating crisply to your team, to leaders across Atlassian, and to our customers and partners. You’ve got charisma in spades: you’re social and adept at building relationships across product lines and functional groups to make sure we are all on the same page. Previous experience in the fields of collaboration and enterprise software is a plus.

On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:

  1. 5 years of product management experience, ideally at a fast-growing software company.
  2. Exceptional ability to prioritize opportunities, balance the needs of our Enterprise customers with those of our business, and clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions.
  3. Experience building and launching successful Mobile (iOS and Android) apps and features. Showcase of compelling apps and innovative features you have worked on will go a long way.
  4. Strong understanding of mobile technologies, UX/UI principles, and agile development methodologies.
  5. You love obsessing over your customers, and working directly with design and engineering to ship delightful products.
  6. You’ll make sure everyone is on the same page and love to work with you!

It’s great, but not required, if you have:

  1. BE/BS/BA with an emphasis in technology; Masters or MBA preferred.
  2. Experience working on AI features.
  3. Understanding of the Apple and Google app store ecosystem.
  4. Experience working on Enterprise-grade mobile apps.

More about our team

The Confluence Cloud Mobile team delivers value to customers faster by providing them a seamless native mobile app experience.

Within Confluence and Mobile teams, we value innovation and creativity by working on exciting and impactful projects that drive business transformation. You will collaborate with a talented and passionate team of professionals and have lots of opportunities for professional growth and development.
