Maxar is looking for a versatile and innovative Geospatial Analyst to support an interesting and exciting project within the Intelligence Community.

Project: We're supporting a well-established customer that works on a critical and high-visibility mission. The team is tremendously talented, and we need to add a seasoned Geospatial Analyst with a strong foundation in GIS and imagery analysis, and experience producing all-source products to help us with the growing number of requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Use a range of tools and data sources to conduct robust all-source analysis in support of a TechINT-driven mission.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to produce a wide range of GEOINT products in support of multiple projects, both developmental and operational.
  • Perform data discovery using open-source research methodologies to derive geospatial, operational, and Pattern of Life insights.
  • Perform imagery sourcing and analysis using commercial and NTM sources.
  • Work with program teams to plan future operations and to shape R&D design efforts.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to compile complex products to inform leadership on technical risks and chances for success of projects.
  • Brief customer’s senior and program leadership, as well as mission partners on analytical efforts, results, conclusions, and recommendations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have current/active TS/SCI security clearance and be willing and able to obtain CI Polygraph.
  • 7 years of relevant experience supporting the DoD/IC.
  • 7 years GIS experience (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcPro, and/or QGIS)
  • Must be willing to work onsite.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of common GIS tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of common Imagery tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of common OSINT tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently, take customer requirements and translate into informative analytic products.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography or similar technical field.
  • Experience leading a small multi-disciplinary team.
  • Previous experience performing technical targeting.
  • Previous experience using common SIGINT tools and methodologies.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. To accommodate all locations, we have listed the bottom to the top of the possible range, and will share the target range for a specific location during the recruiting discussion. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidates unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$78,000.00 - $166,000.00 annually.
