Senior Construction Project Manager

They are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This individual will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with industry best practices. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Focus:

• Utilize industry-standard takeoff software and spreadsheets to generate accurate project bids.
• Assist in developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee procurement of materials, labor, and equipment to maintain project efficiency.
• Review and interpret project contracts and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Assist in managing contract modifications and change orders.
• Monitor construction activities to maintain high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Act as a primary liaison between the company, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships, including bid evaluation and contract negotiations.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure project objectives are met.
• Assist in tracking and managing project costs, financial forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints while optimizing resources.
• Maintain comprehensive project records, including schedules, logs, reports, and contract documentation.
• Generate and distribute detailed progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Assist in building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients to foster business growth.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent hands-on experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Solid understanding of commercial concrete construction methods and materials; experience with structural cast-in-place (CIP) concrete is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or On-Screen Takeoff, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ACI and other concrete-related certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
