Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential customers. The Sales Development Representative will work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute strategies to increase lead volume, quality, pipeline, and sales.

About Us: Castellum.AI is a B2B SAAS compliance platform that helps businesses and governments identify and prevent financial crime. We closed a $4M round in 2023 and have grown our user base by over 1,500% since launch. Our solution is more reliable, faster and 80% more accurate than the competition and is backed by patented technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify potential customers through research, cold calling, and email campaigns
  • Drive lead generation initiatives using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, along with LinkedIn and email automation tools, to expand the client base effectively
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute strategies to increase sales and revenue
  • Track and report on prospecting sales activities and results
  • Will need to track and gather both quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns utilizing tools such as Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to assess performance and inform future strategies
  • Help in the execution of marketing events and campaigns to ensure their success

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of successful experience in sales / business development
  • Strong understanding of outreach techniques, including cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach, to engage potential clients effectively.
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate the value proposition and build rapport with prospects
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven experience leveraging marketing and sales automation applications proficiently, such as CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo), online analytics platforms, and basic Excel functions
  • Experience in SaaS and DaaS sales
  • Experience with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Navigator
  • A strong existing LinkedIn network
  • Understanding of third-party risk and compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field

On-target compensation will range from $115,000 - $150,000 depending on experience, and health benefits are included.

  • This is a fully remote position. Our team is remote-first, but we are located in New York, Boston, Charlotte, and Los Angeles. If you're in one of those cities, we'll definitely spend time together in person, with the goal for you to meet and better understand your colleagues, not to create an annoying commute or attendance requirement. We all work +/- 2 hours from EST.
