Job Summary
Candidate for this position will assist faculty members in their ongoing laboratory, greenhouse, and field research. This includes knowledge of running various equipment, troubleshooting minor problems, maintain service contracts, assist graduate students in their thesis research, and participate in college activities.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesMinimum:
The working conditions should be identified in this section - regular evening and weekend work, shift work, working outdoors, and so forth.
The physical requirement of the job relates to lab experiments. There may be a need to lift objects that are up to 25 lbs in weight.
Direct reportsWe are involved in providing internship opportunities to the students from high schools and technical institutions. We have visitors from universities, state officials and federal agencies. Providing tours is a regular activity.
