Job Description

Newton Services is currently seeking Railcar Repair Welders for our client working onsite at a railyard. This position is a first shift from 6am-4pm or 6am-6pm Monday through Friday (subject to change based off of work load). Applicable work experience is preferred but not specifically required if you match with the requirements listed below but you must be VERY mechanically inclined and be able to work a physically demanding job . Requirements:

• MUST be mechanically inclined
• Able to read a tape measure
• Experience as a mig welder
• Experience in carbon arc (air arc) is a major plus but not a necessity
• Must pass a 5 panel drug screen, background check, physical, and audiogram

Additional Information:

• $23.00/hr - $25.00/hr based off of experience (varies based on the individual's skills, experience, and interview/testing)
• $1.00/hr raise at 90 days
• BCBS and Guardian insurance offered at 90 days
• Holiday pay at 90 days for major holidays (client's discretion)
• 50 hours vacation pay at 1 year anniversary and each year after
• Performance raises and promotions subject to individual work ethic
• Referral bonus of $200 for the referral and employee once 30 days have been worked
