The Principal Interior Designer role is an elevated position that combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, and creative vision to deliver exceptional aviation interior designs. Your ability to inspire, communicate, and deliver on time and on budget makes you a critical asset in achieving design excellence. A typical day might include leading client presentations, scoping and resource planning, mentoring design teams, reviewing project phases, and ensuring design intent is maintained through production. What We Just Said, Now in 6 Bullet Points: Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or equivalent work experience in the field of interior design, Environmental Design, or Interior Architecture; 10+ years in interior design; thorough knowledge of aircraft interiors, systems integration, and certification requirements. Skills: Exceptional presentation and communication skills; expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, InDesign, and Keynote; strategic and analytical problem-solving abilities. Special Requirements: Domestic and international travel up to 30%; passion for aviation and design innovation.
