Job Description
The Physician Recruiter will play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants (NPPAs) to meet our organization's needs, strategic plans, and community health goals. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in physician recruitment, with a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and a passion for networking, building relationships and pipelines, and connecting healthcare professionals with opportunities.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and engage potential physician and NPPA candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, educational institutions, networking events, and direct outreach.
Assess and understand InterMed's presence in the community as a top-notch employer and partner with leadership to devise plans and strategies to ensure InterMed's value proposition is clear and present within the community.
Partner with leadership to create programs that connect and develop physicians and NPPAs in alignment with InterMed's vision and mission.
Conduct initial screenings, interview, and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills and alignment with company values.
Direct, organize and coordinate all aspects of candidate itineraries for interviews, agendas and site visits including travel and hotel reservations, worksite tours, appointments with physicians, lunch/dinner reservations, and processes all related receipts.
Work closely with hiring managers and department leaders to understand specific staffing needs and create tailored recruitment plans.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position the organization and its opportunities.
Partner with local and national contingency based recruitment firms to engage potential physician candidates.
Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
Assist in the negotiation of employment offers; prepare all offer materials.
Participate in Physician and NPPA onboarding experience; create a means to continue to engage new hires throughout their journey with InterMed
Maintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Generate recruitment metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Follow and abide by all federal, state, and local wage and labor laws
Additional projects as needed, including management of additional requisitions, if needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources/Business Administration or related field.
Experience:
3-5 years of Physician Recruitment experience
Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills necessary.
Must be self-directed with a high level of accountability and minimal supervision.
Strong computer skills in HRIS systems, ATS, MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerPoint and ability to learn new computer applications.
Ability and desire to categorize and analyze information, to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability and consistent willingness to provide the highest levels of service to hiring managers, current and prospective employees, and outside vendors.
Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
