Description Gateway is looking for their next team players! We are searching for two Mortgage Servicing Business Analysts- open to entry, intermediate or senior level candidates! JOB SUMMARY : The Servicing Business Analyst II will work across departments within the Mortgage Servicing division of Gateway First Bank. Focus includes supporting both performing and non-performing loan operations and analyzing the associated financial and operational impact. Core competencies include:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES): - Performs loan analysis and data modeling to help make recommendations for process improvement.
- Leverages technology resources to improve department processes and lower risk.
- Assists in the monitoring of the department's operational budget and provides support to the development of operational strategies to meet company's objectives.
- Works with Corporate Accounting, Finance and Treasury to reconcile core servicing system with general ledger and bank activity.
- Monitors regulation changes, implements processes for adhering to changes and coaches and trains to these changes.
- Validates data integrity for mortgage servicing transfers, audits or special projects.
- Develops and implements servicing operations policies, procedures and training guidelines ensuring they are carried out according to established requirements.
- Oversees investor insurer reporting in accordance with Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA, VA and USDA requirements, and in accordance with internal standards and procedures. Ensures business partners maintain compliance.
- Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
- Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Equivalent Education/Experience
•Thorough knowledge of data analysis, data modeling, predictive analytics, statistics and related software applications
•Thorough knowledge of process improvement and project management methodologies
•Advanced Excel, SQL or similar query language skills
•Strong execution skills with the ability to implement new processes and procedures.
•Excellent communication skills and presentation skills with ability to interact with and relate to all levels of the organization.
•Ability to read and interpret program guidelines and establish new processes in compliance with those guidelines.

•Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Information Management, Business, Finance or Mathematics
•2-4 years of related experience in the financial services industry.
