Position Overview

We are hiring reliable and skilled Class A CDL drivers to join our team for a local intermodal account operating out of Troutdale, OR. Enjoy the benefit of being home daily while hauling 100% drop-and-hook freight in the Portland and Troutdale area. This role offers consistent work with flexible shifts, competitive pay, and attractive benefits.

Job Highlights

• Home Time: Be home every day!
• Freight: 100% drop and hook – No-touch freight
• Coverage Area: Local routes in and around Portland/Troutdale
• Shift Options: Choose between Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday
• Loads Per Day: Average 3-6 loads
• Miles Per Week: 1,000 - 1,500 miles
• Holiday Schedule: Enjoy holidays off unless you choose to volunteer for additional work.

Compensation & Benefits

• Mileage Pay: $0.65 per mile
• Short-Haul Bonus: $40 for each load under 50 miles (90% of loads fall into this category)
• Weekly Earnings: Average $1,400 - $1,700
• Delivery Bonus: Earn a $500 bonus for every 50 customer deliveries completed
• Potential Short-Haul Earnings: Add $800 - $1,000 weekly from short-haul bonuses alone!

Who We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Hold a valid Class A CDL with at least 6 months of recent driving experience
• Clean driving record – no accidents, tickets, or suspensions in the past 5 years
• No DUI, felony, or misdemeanor convictions within the last 5 years
• Solid 10-year work history with no significant employment gaps outside of schooling or training
• Must have worked at least 6 months within the past year, or 1 year in the last 3 years
• Must pass both a urine and hair follicle drug screening
• Reside within 50 miles of Troutdale, OR
