Lend-A-Loan is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join as Loan Officer Trainees in Troy, MI. This position entails interacting with potential leads and assisting them in the beginning stages of their home-buying journey. As the first point of contact, every engagement is seen as a chance to make a positive impression. No previous mortgage background is necessary as thorough training will be given.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Friday: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

•Prospect and convert qualified leads
•Utilize warm calling techniques to engage with prospects and build relationships
•Identify and qualify sales opportunities through effective questioning and active listening
•Maintain a thorough understanding of the market and industry trends to effectively position products/services
•Studying for the NMLS state exam

Qualifications

•While previous mortgage experience is beneficial, it is not a mandatory requirement for this role
•Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential
•Candidates should feel comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls in this role
•Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for quickly building rapport with clients
•A self-motivated and target-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving six-figure goals, is necessary
•The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team is important
•Problem-solving and negotiation skills are key attributes for success in this position
