We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consulting Litigation Consultant to join our dynamic and fast-paced legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases, providing strategic advice and litigation support to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending depositions, drafting briefs, deposing witnesses, and providing expertise on complex litigation matters. This position requires a deep understanding of the litigation process, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic advice and litigation support to clients on a wide range of issues.
2. Attend depositions, providing expert analysis and advice to attorneys.
3. Draft, review, and edit briefs, motions, and other legal documents, ensuring they are accurate, persuasive, and compliant with current law.
4. Depose witnesses, preparing them thoroughly for the process and extracting valuable information to support our clients' cases.
5. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to identify potential risks and develop effective litigation strategies.
6. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure all aspects of the litigation process are handled effectively and efficiently.
7. Provide expert testimony in court when necessary.
8. Stay current with developments in the law, maintaining a solid understanding of the legal landscape and how it may impact our clients.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation consulting or a related role.
3. Licensed to practice law in the state.
4. Proven experience attending depositions, drafting briefs, and deposing witnesses.
5. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to understand and interpret complex legal issues.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex legal concepts to clients and team members.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
8. Proficiency with legal research tools and software.
9. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
