Service Manager, HVAC Service Manager
Phoenix, AZ 85085

 
SUMMARY:

• We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our service department

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
• Supervise and support technicians in the field, providing assistance with troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
• Handle dispatching of service calls, ensuring timely response to customer inquiries and requests
• Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for service operations
• Interact with customers to address inquiries, provide quotes, and ensure high levels of satisfaction
• Prepare and process proposals, purchase orders, and billing documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Oversee maintenance and repair of company vehicles, addressing any issues promptly
• Lead a team of 5-8 technicians, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed

 
REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 10 years of field experience in HVAC, with a strong understanding of commercial systems
• Proficiency in communication and phone skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook for documentation and communication purposes
• Familiarity with service management software, preferably Service Fusion or similar platforms
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems ranging from 1 ton to 200 tons
• Leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of technicians effectively
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the HVAC industry
• Certification or licensure in HVAC-related fields
