Who We Need: Arootah is looking for a Health Coach who seeks to promote the client's overall wellbeing, above and beyond diet and exercise. The coach will strengthen all facets of health and is dedicated to educating, empowering, and inspiring clients through a holistic approach to achieving their personal goals.

- Awareness and ensure inclusion of employee health disparities when developing a coaching plan.
- Ability to learn and teach Arootah tools to clients.
What You'll Do: - Identifying Client internal strengths and external resources.
- Developing self-management tools supporting lifestyle changes that are sustainable.
- Focus on health and behavior changes based on goals including weight management, exercise, and basic food intake education.
- Holistic approach to personal goals using sleep, fitness, energy, emotional well-being, and nutrition education.
- Provide basic generalized nutrition education and information focused on lifestyle, day-to-day living, and general nutrition needs.
- Provide education and information regarding digestion, elimination, regularity, and circulation.
- Remain aware and up to date on health and wellness trends.
- Assist clients in creating a healthy vision and goals for their Health
- Continually provide motivation, guidance, support, and encouragement.
- Use of HIPAA compliant EMR to document member interactions and messaging along with tracking health metrics.
- Support member goals and progress through 1:1 video calls and Arootah Success Formula.
- Guide clients by driving conversation topics and interacting with members' questions and comments.
- Host live webinars for client base as needed.
- Work with Arootah's content team in developing pre-recorded health and wellness related videos.
- Work cross-functionally to provide innovative thinking and a growth-oriented mindset ensuring the highest quality member experience
Qualifications - NBHWC Certification (preferred).
- Certification for Health Coach approved by the NBHWC.
- Health Coaching experience: 3+ years.
- Additional certifications (preferred): Behavior change, weight loss, nutrition, exercise science, motivational interviewing, and sleep.
- Corporate wellness experience: Experience coaching C-Suite executives with health goals.
- Previous experience working with professional athletes
- Experience with building Corporate Wellness programs.
- Diversity and Inclusion training (certification required).
- Strong work ethic: ability to adjust to client schedule and coaching needs.
- Verbal and written communication: ability to clearly communicate with clients.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Organization of Coach-Client interaction including appointments, follow-up, notes.
- HIPAA compliant platform use.
$60 - $100 an hour

The hourly consulting rate of pay is expected to be minimum of $60 and a maximum of $100 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined by several factors including, skills, specialization, accreditation, and years of experience Arootah
