Salary: $28-$32/hr DOE

Conrac Solutions seeks an Operations Specialist technically skilled in services such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC to support us in overseeing and managing the consolidated rental car facility at the Salt Lake City Airport. Conrac Solutions strategically partners with industry to manage consolidated rental car facilities at airports across the country.

The Operations Specialist supports critical services with increased focus on a narrow field of facility management activities that are delivered in multiple project locations. Services may include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, conveyance, structural, building envelope, fueling systems, network and communications systems, and fire detection and suppression. Under the direction of the Facility Services Manager, this role is responsible for proactively executing the processes that are in place to ensure contractors and site teams maintain site and building conditions to meet the department standards. Please note this a FT Regular position located at the rental car facility near the Salt Lake City International Airport.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage vendor performance and compliance with service agreement and department standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to update the capital improvement plans.
• Coordinate inspections to monitor site and facility conditions at multiple project locations.
• Ensure work completed by staff and contractors has been completed satisfactorily. Provide feedback and set expectations, following up on any deficiencies.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
• Maintain current knowledge of individual area of expertise. Provide updates to team as needed.
• Establish good working relationships with other team members.
• Foster positive communications and relationships with tenants, owners, and building staff.
• Keep up to date on industry trends and developments.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in meetings as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree, trade school, or technical certification preferred. May be substituted with High School Diploma and 4 years of progressive experience in a similar technical role.
• Minimum 2 years of related industry experience.

• Complete knowledge of facility equipment and facility maintenance programs and procedures.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety principles and practices.
• Ability to identify and recognize unsafe conditions or work practices.
• Effective communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Proficient typing skills are also required.
• Professional in appearance and character.
• Able to work well in a collaborative environment.
