A Top Commercial Roofing company is looking for a remote 3-5 yr commercial roofing industry professional to prospect new clients, maintain and grow current relationships and provide accurate bids in an effective timeframe. We offer excellent growth potential for a motivated professional.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with industrial and commercial building owners and facility managers.
• Effectively communicate the company's strengths and value propositions as the preferred provider of roofing solutions.
• Stay informed about various roofing systems and repair options, particularly in existing buildings.
• Analyze and diagnose customer roofing needs, matching them with suitable solutions such as replacement, repair, or preventative maintenance.
• Develop cost budgets for roofing proposals to present to owners’ representatives.
• Draft proposals for general contractors, private clients, and other customers.
• Review blueprints and documentation to prepare bids and estimates.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members to formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Communicate changes and adjustments to cost estimates with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and track weekly activities.
• Ensure all documentation, including estimates, cost codes, scope of work, and man hours, is accurate and handed off to the operations team if the project is awarded.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of sales experience in commercial roofing construction
• Strong understanding of the sales process with a profit-oriented mindset.
• Ability to comprehend both technical and financial aspects of construction operations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal team members.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Knowledge or experience in the roofing industry.
