Job Title: Fraud Analyst

Location: Wilmington, DE

The Brand Protection Team is seeking an Analyst to receive, process, and respond to external reports of fraudulent use of company’s brands. This role involves investigating and requesting mitigation of online frauds using various platforms such as social media, domains, mobile applications, blogs, email, and text messages. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills as well as an interest in technology and understanding online fraud.

Responsibilities

• Receive, research, report evidence of external fraud, and reply to stakeholders
• Identify patterns and trends in fraud activities and work with internal and external teams regarding potential impact and mitigation efforts
• Respond to victims of frauds with empathy, offering guidance and support recommendations, and coordinating with internal teams, when necessary, to continue communication and mitigation efforts
• Gather data that relates to potential fraud such as: emails received, any data files, screenshots, social media, etc.
• Work with team leads to enhance cybersecurity vendor data collection and processing pipelines for fraud intelligence and brand infringements
• Update and maintain documentation relevant to fraud investigation and prevention workflows

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a Cyber Security field such as Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Digital Forensics, and Incident Response DFIR, or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience interacting with the public
• Experience using office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Ability to follow guides and recognize when matters should be escalated
• Experience using popular social media platforms
