The primary responsibility of this role is to act as a consultant and trainer to provide operational, marketing, and financial support to our franchise partners. This will be primarily accomplished by providing coaching based on the Companys outlined procedures and policies and identifying areas of opportunity within the assigned region.

Specifically, the Franchise Business Consultant will:
  • Act as a first point of contact for all Fitness Machine Technicians franchisee-related activity for the territory covered while delivering compelling and streamlined communication with each franchisee and headquarters.
  • Building relationships and trust to influence their commitment to developing and executing their adopted annual marketing plan and supporting ongoing results aligned with those plans.
  • Coach, appropriately challenge, and encourage individual franchisees in existing and new operational processes, including digital advertising, grassroots marketing, best hiring practices, and front office management.
  • To achieve maximum profitability, provide best practices on KPIs, financial planning, hiring and retaining employees, marketing and sales, workflow and operations, and breakeven and forecast analysis.
  • Visit operator locations on a scheduled basis, working toward specific franchisee goals.
  • Execute against the Fitness Machine Technicians US market plan in the territory covered, including processes to develop strategies and tactics that enable and accelerate the US growth for both brands. This includes benchmarking and competitive analysis of all franchisees for the territory covered.
  • Focus on franchisee revenue and profitability growth, and conduct business reviews to measure against annual budgets.
  • Support Fitness Machine Technicians' regular reviews for brand compliance as needed for renewals, etc., in the territory covered.
  • As needed, support the Main Line Brands, LLC management team in planning, business review, and special projects.
  • This position requires medium to heavy travel (50% to 75%) depending on the current needs and assigned projects for the territory covered.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: BA/BS or equivalent with experience.
  • Minimum two years of franchise coaching experience.
  • Must be a logical thinker and have the desire to have a positive impact on the franchisees within the territory covered.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task & generate actionable recommendations. Demonstrated track record of solid project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal & team skills with the ability to present to other team members and senior leadership.
  • Clear and practical communication skills across all mediums (face to face, by phone, in writing) with all parties at various levels, whether internal or external to the organization. Ability to partner well with cross-functional departments and work with all levels of management, including senior management.
  • Strong system/technical skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
