We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Facility Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the operations and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and its employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety, compliance, and performance management, with the ability to implement effective strategies and systems to optimize our facilities' operations. This position requires a high level of responsibility and leadership, offering a challenging and rewarding role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all daily operations of the facility, ensuring that all work is done in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
2. Develop and implement effective facility management strategies, procedures, and performance standards, ensuring all objectives are met.
3. Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to determine their facility needs and ensure they are met.
4. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of facilities to ensure they are in optimal condition and meet safety standards.
5. Manage and oversee all facility-related projects, including renovations, repairs, and installations.
6. Develop and manage budgets for facility operations and maintenance, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
7. Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
8. Respond to emergency situations or disruptions to operations and initiate the necessary steps to resolve these issues.
9. Oversee the performance of all vendors and contractors involved in facility work, ensuring the quality and timeliness of their work.
10. Implement effective asset management and life-cycle planning for all facilities and equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or related field, with a focus on safety, compliance, and performance management.
3. Proven experience in managing and coordinating facility operations and maintenance.
4. Strong knowledge of facility management practices and procedures, including safety regulations and compliance requirements.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
8. Strong financial management skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
10. Proficiency in using facility management software and systems.
11. Certification in Facility Management, Safety Management, or related field is a plus.
