Summary:

Responsible for performing assigned cleaning tasks. Performs work on daily and weekly routine.

Relationships:

• All departments and employees of ITRCC

Responsibilities:

• Performs all tasks safely, complies with all internal and external safety requirements, supports ITRCC safety culture, attends all safety trainings and completes all compliance trainings as required by ITRCC.
• Uphold ITRCC’s core values: Customer Service, Respect, Excellence, Stewardship and Teamwork (CREST).

• Floors: Vacuum, sweep, and mop keeping into consideration cross contamination i.e. from bathrooms to common areas
• Dusts, empties and sanitizes wastebaskets, wash and sanitize items in assigned areas
• Performs minor ground maintenance, such as snow and trash removal
• Clean tunnel stair area or stairwells within Administration Building including dusting ledges and debris free area
• Wash windows throughout building daily when needed
• Draw all cleaning supplies from Central Facility
• Responsible for weekly supply order by scheduling via e-mail to Supervisor
• Fills in for and assists other custodians when needed in special details, projects or PTO
• Sidewalk snow removal at Administration Building and Toll Plaza
• Weekly submission of booth cleanliness check list, vehicle driver inspection checklist and gas receipt(s) via e-mail to TMC Manager
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/ GED
• Must be able to lift light to medium weight cleaning supplies
• Must be able to read written instructions
• Must be self-motivated
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

• Must be self-motivated

Desirable Experience:

• 1-2 years experience working in a similar position

Working Conditions:

• This position requires: (Frequent est. 5 hrs per shift)

• Frequent Standing, Walking and Sitting.
• Frequent Reading, Talking and Hearing.
• Above Average Physical Effort.
• Light Computer Usage.
• Travel time required may be up to 50%
