Job Description

The basic function of the Custodian is to work either independently or in a team to perform daily cleaning duties in accordance with the specifications provided by management. The job is not limited to and consists of the following duties:

• Responsible for completing commercial cleaning projects to satisfaction
• Responsible for taking inventory of supplies and reporting deficiencies to F&B Manager
• Clock in and out properly
• Ability to be resilient, flexible and responsive to the changing needs of the business
• Ability to work independently
• Occasional emergency calls after hours, holidays and on weekends
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, indoor window cleaning and dusting to maintain a clean and orderly environment
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and fixtures, break rooms, offices, banquet rooms, dining rooms and other common areas to maintain cleanliness standards
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring an adequate supply is available at all times
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Strip and wax tiled floors as required
• Replace light bulbs as needed and unclog drains and toilets as needed
• Assist in moving furniture, tables and chairs as required or requested
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Physical requirements:

• Body Positions: Standing, sitting
• Body Movements: Walking, stooping, bending
• Sensory Abilities: Sighted, voiced, and hearing. Close, color, and peripheral vision with ability to adjust eye focus.
• Lifting: up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Weekends Required

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 30 per week
