Salary: $100,000 - $175,000 per year
A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our company's financial operations, ensuring our financial planning aligns with our strategic goals. This role involves managing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, and the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Job Details Responsibilities:
- Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
- Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, COO and CFO, as well as Board of Directors.
- Supervise the investment and portfolio strategy managed by third-party investment firms.
- Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
- Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
- Oversee accounting operations involving coordination with public agency, cost rates, revenues, and financial analysis.
- Review reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures and suggest improvements needed.
- Coordinate tax planning processes.
- Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, and advising management on needed actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
- Proven working experience as a Controller, preferably in the finance sector.
- 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial management principles and regulations.
- Proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to strategize and solve problems.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
- Proficient in MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with people at all levels and who represent a variety of diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated professional competence and integrity and ethical decision-making.
