Salary: $28.00 - $37.15/hour DOE

Are you passionate about storytelling, building relationships, and inspiring others? Join Solano Land Trust , a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Solano County's open spaces, working lands, and natural resources for future generations.

We are seeking a Communications Specialist to play a vital role in managing and coordinating the organization’s internal and external communications, with a strong focus on supporting our Fundraising and Development teams. This position is key to advancing our mission, maintaining a positive public image, and fostering clear and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

The ideal candidate would have these key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support organizational goals
• Create compelling content that highlights our programs, engages the community, and inspires support
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to craft stories that promote awareness of Solano Land Trust’s mission
• Strengthening relationships with key audiences through consistent and impactful messaging

The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with strong writing skills and a proven ability to build meaningful relationships. You have a passion for storytelling and educating others about the importance of land conservation.

Be part of a professional and talented Development Team, working alongside our dedicated staff and volunteers. Solano Land Trust offers:

• Compensation : $28.00 - $37.15/hour DOE, with opportunities for spot bonuses
• Employment Type : Full Time, Non-Exempt (hourly)
• Benefits : Partial employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, a 403(b)-retirement plan with a 3% match, and eleven paid holidays
• Vacation : Three weeks of vacation annually
• Work Flexibility : Hybrid work schedule options based on organizational needs
