About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as a pivotal member of the senior cabinet leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general staff administration, ensuring alignment with the school system's strategic plan and direction. This role involves overseeing the executive staff, providing administrative coordination for the school system's operations, and leading the implementation and monitoring of services. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in supervising staff, convening meetings to address operational issues, and developing an integrated communications network. Essential tasks include supporting the strategic plan, preparing and chairing executive committees, and facilitating cross-divisional operations. Candidates for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have an advanced degree with a preference for a doctorate, and a background in educational administration or related fields. A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years of direct experience with superintendents, school board members, non-profit organizations, and community representatives, is required. The role demands a proven track record in leading educational initiatives, managing large-scale projects, and building relationships with diverse stakeholders. The Chief of Staff must have a Superintendent of Schools certification, in-depth knowledge of K-12 administrative practices, and the ability to communicate effectively and provide leadership in both administrative and instructional functions.
