About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as a key advisor to the President, leading strategic planning, managing projects, and coordinating with the Executive Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for presidential advising, ensuring executive alignment, and managing workflow and initiatives to support the President's and the Executive Council's objectives. This role also involves stakeholder engagement, representing the President at various events, and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. The Chief of Staff will oversee the internal office operations, including staff management, and will be expected to handle complex issues with tact, diplomacy, and a commitment to diversity. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a terminal degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in managing multiple projects, analyzing data for decision-making, and successful completion of a criminal history background check. Preferred qualifications include experience in higher education, as a chief of staff, and significant experience in areas such as strategic planning, communication, legislative affairs, major project management, educational leadership, or C-level leadership. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to build trust across diverse constituencies, and a demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse environment.
