About the Role

The Company is seeking an EVP, Chief of Programs and Innovation to join its leadership team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years experience in leadership roles, with a proven track record in managing executives, leading organizational change, and fostering innovation. This role is pivotal in transforming the company's vision and strategic plan into reality, with a focus on overseeing the leaders of the organization's substantive program areas. The EVP will be a critical leader in the fight against white supremacy, the reduction of incarceration, the eradication of poverty, and the strengthening of democracy. Strategic leadership, executive management, and a deep commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) are essential. Applicants must have significant experience in centering JEDI values in their leadership approach and a strong background in developing and implementing programs that enhance collaboration and impact. The role requires exceptional relationship-building skills, the ability to inspire and motivate staff and stakeholders, and a deep connection to the South and its unique cultural and social landscape. The EVP will also be responsible for driving innovation, managing a high-performing executive team, and representing the organization among critical external constituencies. Professional maturity, the ability to manage conflict, and a proactive, entrepreneurial attitude are key attributes for this position.
