$18.00/hr. The shift is great too: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
ABOUT THE JOB Responsibilities and Duties: - Perform filing, bending, brazing, polishing, and other manual manufacturing. Some work requires the use of a microscope.
- Perform Machine work including belting, grinding, and drilling.
- Use measurement instruments including micrometers and calipers
Desired Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable part of a team.
- We trust each other to show up every day and on time.
- Work overtime as needed and put the safety of your team and yourself first.
- Attention to detail.
- Prior experience in fields such as Gunsmith, Jeweler, Watchmaker, Seamstress or Avionics, (not mandatory).
- Completed courses in drafting or having hobbies such as model building or are accustomed to hands-on detailed work as well (not mandatory).
- An eye for shapes and ability to utilize specialized measurement devices, while using hand tools and machines to create the instrument to specifications is a must.
Environment and Dress Code: - Work in the Training Cell to ensure accuracy and growth in ability.
- Workstations are assigned with microscope for fine detail sanding, etching, and brazing.
- Good eye for detail and ability to match visual examples for finished product.
- Master instrument is available for comparison along with detailed instructions.
- Safety glasses are provided and should be worn when operating equipment.
- Prolonged standing and/or sitting will be required in this position.
- Dress Code is standard warehouse attire.
- NO shorts or open toe shoes of any kind.
