Job Description
Job Summary : Under the direction of the City Manager, the Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative support to the City Manager and Leadership Team. This role includes scheduling appointments, composing correspondence, managing records, coordinating meetings, and assisting with projects. While greeting visitors and managing incoming calls is part of the role, the primary focus is on high-level administrative support to enhance departmental efficiency.
Physical requirements : Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift carry, push, and/or pull to moderate amounts of weight; operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination; travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and verbally communicate to exchange information.
Certification: Possession of a valid driver’s license, must be bondable, and possession of a Notary Public Certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
